Ghana to use herbal medicine to cure COVID-19

The Centre for Plant Medicine Research (CPMR) at Mampong Akwapim in the Eastern Region has made progress in the development of herbal medicine for the treatment of COVID-19.

The centre is collaborating with the Ministry of Health (MoH) and other stakeholders in research to find a herbal cure for the deadly pandemic.

According to the acting Executive Director of the centre, Dr. Kofi Bobi Barimah, his outfit was fast developing the herbal medicine adding that it would bring great respite to Ghanaians when it was introduced.

Speaking at the launch of an immune-boosting food supplement called Thorntina-74 Mixture, he said "We have been working around the clock to get a herbal treatment for the COVID-19 and it will be out soon."

He stated that "This herbal solution contains an anticarcinogenic and an immunomodulator that prevents cancerous cells and prevents bacterial from easily affecting the system."

    Natural herbs have cured so many illness that drugs and injection's can't cure. I've seen the great importance of natural herbs and the wonderful work they have done in people's lives. i read people's testimonies online on how they were cured of Herpes, Hpv HIV/AIDS & STDs, Diabetics, Gonorrhea, Hepatitis, etc. by herbal medicine, so i decided to contact the doctor because i know nature has the power to heal anything. Airbus scandal: Police statement on Interpol Red Alert was needless as Amidu unearths forgeries

The Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu has described as needless the statement by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) that his office' request triggered the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) to issue a warrant for the arrest of Samuel Adam Fosters, also known as Samuel Adam Mahama in relation to the Airbus bribery scandal. He explained that his office built a good case warranting the Interpol red notices. The CID said it facilitated the request for the Office of the Special Prosecutor with the Interpol General Secretariat to get other security agencies to help arrest the four persons described as "fugitives". Voters registration: Over 11 million Ghanaians registered - EC

The Electoral Commission has revealed that more than eleven million Ghanaians have registered for the voters' ID card as of Friday, July 24, 2020. This indicates that the first four phases of the registration exercise have so far seen a total of 11,629,480 – eleven million six hundred and twenty-nine thousand four hundred and eight persons have registered and received their voters' ID.
